Two Hoots
‘Two Hoots’, is a 60 Ft` Cruiser Stern Narrowboat, built on a Colecraft Shell.
We found the team at BLS very easy to work with. Their expertise and attention to detail turned our design into a beautiful boat, but they also listened and then found ways to implement our own innovative ideas. Two Hoots is the amazing result.
Exterior
She has been spray painted in our NEW Spray Shop using Two Pack Epoxy Primer and Two Pack Polyurethane Spray paints.
To further compliment this amazing paint finish, ‘Two Hoots’ has been sign written by Jon Leesons.
There are three main colours, a predominately black painted boat with green insert panels and a cream coach-line and roof. The exterior is finished of with chrome and chrome effect fittings.
Interior
‘Two Hoots’ is a reverse layout.
Entering from the back you step down into the galley. The galley has everything to offer, including electric cooking, yes ‘Two Hoots’ is a gas free boat.
Centrally fitted in the bedroom is the cross-over bed surrounded by wardrobe and drawer units. Further storage can be found under the bed.
The walk-through bathroom offers good showering and washing facilities as well as a full height heated drying cupboard.
The cosy saloon is fitted with both a media cabinet and a book cabinet but the main feature is the solid fuel stove, sat on a sunken glass hearth.
Following on from the galley is a dinette. This dinette area offers the standard seating and sleeping configurations you would expect to find with the additional seating for the saloon with a simple reversing seat and motorised slide-out step.
‘Two Hoots’ has an excellent power systems on board, both engine and electrically.
Firstly a Turbo Charged Beta Marine Diesel has been fitted to drive the propeller and the powerful 24volt, 260amp domestic alternator.This high output alternator delivers the charging voltage for the 24volt, 600AmpHour Lithium Ion Battery bank
The power requirement of this boat are very high, predominantly because of the induction hob and electric oven, although she is fully ladened with washing machine and dish washer
