Charlotte
Charlotte is one of the last boats started by master boat builder Steve Hudson before he died in December 2014. We are very proud to have been chosen by her owner to complete the build; she came to use with just her engine and electrics installed.
We completed the build and fit-out in Steve Hudson style. Once finished Charlotte will moor at Heyford Fields Marina.
Exterior
Charlotte is traditional boat built on a Hudson shell with a black and grey colour scheme.
Interior
Internally Charlotte is finished in oak tongue and groove above the gunwhales and on the ceiling; below the gunwhales is plane wooden panelling.
Lighting is LED down-lighters throughout.
Charlotte has a conventional layout. Entering from the rear you enter the master bedroom.
Forward of the bedroom is the walk-through cross-over bathroom with a basin and macerator toilet.
The walk-through galley leads to an "L" shaped dinette.
The saloon is at the front of the boat and features a solid fuel stove.
Charlotte has Beta Marine 43 engine and a Vetus 75kgf bow thruster.
The high capacity battery bank is made up of six 169Ah Lithium Batteries wired to provide 507Ah at 24 volts.
The engine charging system consists of a 24 volt 100 amp alternator.
